This notice describes how Alpine Intelligence GmbH processes personal information when you use alpineintelligence.ch or its services, or make contact in connection with sales, marketing or events. I am Boris Schickedanz, your contact for the company.

1. Information you provide
The company processes personal information you voluntarily provide, for example when enquiring about services or making contact in another way. Depending on the interaction and service used, this may include your name and email address. The company does not process sensitive personal information or collect information from third parties.
Your information must be accurate, complete and current. Please notify the company of changes.
2. Purposes of processing
Information is used to provide, improve and administer services, communicate with you, support security and fraud prevention, and comply with legal obligations. With your consent, it may be processed for other purposes. Processing may also be necessary to protect an individual’s vital interests, for example to prevent harm.
3. Legal bases
Information is processed only where it is considered necessary and there is a valid legal basis under applicable law. These may include your consent, legal obligations, entering into or fulfilling contractual obligations, protecting your rights, or legitimate business interests.
The following bases may apply in relation to the GDPR and UK GDPR:
- Consent: You have given permission to use your information for a specific purpose. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligations: Processing is considered necessary to comply with legal obligations.
- Vital interests: Processing is considered necessary to protect your vital interests or those of another person.
4. Sharing during business changes
Personal information may be shared or transferred in connection with a merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or part of the company. This may also happen during related negotiations.
5. AI products and external providers
The services include products, features or tools that use AI, machine learning or similar technologies. The AI products described here serve AI development. Their use is governed by this privacy notice.
AI products are provided through external service providers, including Microsoft Azure AI. Inputs, outputs and personal information are shared with and processed by these providers to enable use of the AI products. Use must not violate the respective providers’ terms or policies.
Personal information processed through AI products is handled in accordance with this notice and the agreements with external providers.
6. Retention and deletion
Personal information is retained for as long as necessary for the stated purposes, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law, for example for tax or accounting purposes.
When there is no ongoing legitimate business need, information is deleted or anonymized. If that is not yet possible, for example in backup archives, it is stored securely and isolated from further processing until deletion is possible.
7. Information security
The company has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. However, completely secure electronic transmission or storage cannot be guaranteed.
8. Minors
The company does not knowingly collect or solicit information from people under 18, market to them, or sell their personal information.
9. Your rights and consent
Depending on applicable law, particularly in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, you may have rights to access and obtain a copy of your information, request correction or deletion, restrict processing and, where applicable, data portability. These may also include the right not to be subject to automated decision-making.
Where processing relies on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications through the link in the relevant email or by making contact.
For access, correction, deletion or other requests, write to boris@alpineintelligence.ch. The company considers and acts on requests in accordance with applicable data protection law.
10. Do-Not-Track signals
Browsers and some mobile applications offer a Do-Not-Track (DNT) setting to communicate that you do not want your online activities tracked. The company does not currently respond to DNT signals or similar automated communications.
11. Updates and contact
This notice may be updated as needed. Revisions are identified by the date at the beginning of the notice.
